Brig O’ Doon Wedding

Jenna and James at Brig O’Doon House Hotel

Jenna & James got married at Brig O’Doon House hotel and it was one of my favourite weddings of 2025.

Jenna and the girls got ready at Kirkgate house and the energy was electric from the moment I arrived. It was a beautiful day and the girls wanted to celebrate with a champagne spray in the garden before putting on their dresses, it was a beautiful moment and they danced all the way through it.

I headed over to see the boys at Brig O’Doon and they were equally energetic and a lot louder, I knew this was going to be a great wedding.

After the ceremony we headed out to the gardens for a party…I mean some photos :) The bridal party were just full of life and Jenna and James so full of love so my job was made easy. After the pictures the couple wanted to mingle and dance as they had Shades of Sax coming along who instantly had everyone bouncing.

It was such a brilliant and stress free day, Jenna was absolutely stunning and you can really feel the happiness and energy in the pictures.

Wedding Photography at Lochside House Hotel

Connor & Eilish

My first wedding of 2025 and it was epic! Set in the stunning Lochside House Hotel, Eilish and Connor had a mammoth bridal party of 18 and lucky for me they were a pleasure to work with. We laughed our way through the whole day and although it was January the weather was very kind and the Lochside lighting was just stunning.

They had Devotion Dj’s in the evening and the dancefloor was full and they topped the evening celebrations off with a cracking fireworks show.

What a start to my 2025 season!

Wedding Photography at Enterkine House Hotel

Caitlin & Ross

Caitlin & Ross got married in October at Enterkine House Hotel. Autumn was in full bloom on the estate and cast a beautiful golden glow onto the driveway pictures.

Caitlin and the girls got ready in the bridal lodge and were full of energy and excitement for the day ahead. Once all the hair and make-up was finished and all the prosecco had been popped they headed up to the bridal suite to put the dresses on.

Although it was a relatively dry day the wind was wild, blowing up kilts and blowing fascinators away which caused a few laughs. It also added to some spectacular confetti shots .

I took the whole bridal party down onto the driveway and we really did have the best time getting blown around. Caitlin and Ross were a dream to photograph and up for all of my shot ideas, they were just naturals in front of the camera.

As the rain came on a bit heavier we headed back into Enterkine to capture some family groups and a couple more of the bride and groom before settling down for the speeches and dancing.

This truly was an epic wedding.

Wedding Photography at Dunglass Estate

This was my first time at Dunglass Estate and I was blown away with it’s beauty. The grounds are a photographers dream and it has it’s own little stone chapel along with a beautiful country house for the bridal preparations.

It was Rebecca & Kevin’s big day. Rebecca and the girls got their hair and make up done in the cute little lodge behind the house whilst Kevin and the boys relaxed in one of the other suites in the courtyard.

I had arrived early to get my bearings and it was almost enchanting…there was a slight fog around the estate which gave it a magical fairy tale feel. Once the girls were ready we were popping champagne in the garden and getting into the swing of it all.

As the little chapel is situated on the grounds it is just a short buggy ride over from the house and a lovely walk up the path to the chapel which makes for beautiful photographs.

Kevin was getting emotional waiting on his bride and struggled to hold back the tears when he saw Rebecca walking down. The ceremony was beautifully intimate and a few light hearted laughs were heard.

After the ceremony we came outside for big confetti tunnel with all the guests which was great fun. I took the bridal around the grounds for the bridal portraits and I really was spoiled for choice as there are so many beautiful locations to choose from.

We then headed back over to the courtyard to get some family pictures and mingle with the guests. After speeches and dinner, Rebecca & Kevin were keen to get back out for some more pictures. We had all the colours of the rainbow in smoke flares and the pictures are just epic.

The day was finished off with the dancing and it really was the most magical day!
